COVID-19 SUPPORT PHASE 2 FOR STUDENTS FROM FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES (FIS), THE UNIVERSITY OF DA NANG – UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES STUDIES – UFL.
Da Nang city authorities have extended social distancing measures for another two weeks from August 12. The FIS know that our students continue to need support during this unprecedented challenge, so we presented 200 VND in cash and in-kind support to each of 41 needy students to help them in the battle against Covid-19 on August 13.
The FIS’s Board of Leaders and the lecturers visited, gave spiritual encouragement and gifts to students at UFL campus, quarantine area in Khue Trung, Cam Le District, the dormitory in the South and the dormitory of University of Economics.
During this time of great uncertainty, our students have been comforted, encouraged, and humbled by the outpouring of generosity and support from our community. A massive thank to lecturers, sponsors, alumni, UFL’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union – Da Nang University Student’s Association and ACDEMY English Centre and other sponsors for our needy students.
We Thank You for helping us meet the challenges of this moment, so we can continue to provide the highest order of care with inclusion, integrity, compassion to our needy students.
We hope that, together with our consensus and solidarity under the leadership of the National Assembly of Viet Nam and the Communist Party of Vietnam, we will quickly prevent and repel the pandemic in our region.
