Mission 

The Faculty of International Studies is committed to providing high-quality graduates with global competence and introducing the Vietnamese language and culture to the world. 

Tasks

Teaching International StudiesOriental Studies, and Vietnamese Language and Culture for full-time students at higher education level.- Offering short-term courses with specific objectives for foreigners as well as Vietnamese in demand.- Conducting basic research, applied research and implementation.- Supporting the Language and Cultural Center and the College of Foreign Languages, the University of Danang to do research or transactions. 

Vision

The Faculty of International Studies aims at being an educational unit that promotes learners to become global citizens with high adaptability in an environment of diversity and integration in economies, cultures, and societies.

1. Foreign Affairs Officers

Foreign Affairs Officers work in a challenging but extremely interesting working environment. 2. Journalists

With their basic knowledge and skills, International Studies graduates are sufficient to perform their jobs as a journalist, especially the ability to create websites related to international issues.Specific tasks:· Edit culture, politics, and international economics newsletters;· Edit programs;· Conduct interviews;· Write reports;· Broadcast programs in Vietnamese and English.Job Requirements:· Strong will;· Good professional capacity;· Independent thinking and sensibility;· Patience, honesty and objectiveness;·      Flexible communication and creativity.Recruiting Agencies: Local Broadcast Television Station; The Voice of Vietnam; Newspapers and Magazines; Online Newspapers; The PR Departments of Companies 

3. General Management: Some courses such as Business Management, Foreign Trade Profession, and Public Relation, etc. are offered to prepare each individual to have operational skills as well as give each person a chance to learn how to manage a business or multi-scale Aid and Development Projects. That’s why after graduation, a graduate student of International Studies Department can possess the abilities to:· Carry out the management duties;· Control the operations of the departments or of the enterprise as a whole;· Build up, maintain and strengthen internal as well as external relationships;· Plan up and manage projects. Ability and Personality Requirements· Ability to manage and organize any kinds of work;· Ability to maintain personnel association as well as communication;· Ability to work with great intensity and under high pressure;· Ability to work independently;· Ability to work in a team with a wide range of different cultures and nationalities.
