  1. What do learners achieve after finishing the Vietnamese Language and Culture courses at UFLS?

2.1. Elementary level (Level A1, A2)

Upon completing the courses, learners are able to use Vietnamese basically to communicate in daily life as well as read and write short essays in Vietnamese.

2.2. Intermediate level (Level B1, B2)

Upon completing the courses, learners are able to use Vietnamese well to talk about certain specialized topics, comprehensively read many types of texts, develop listening comprehension skills to conversations, dialogues and lectures at school.

2.3. Advanced level (level C1, C2)

Upon completing the courses, learners are able to use Vietnamese proficiently as native speakers. Therefore, learners are capable of not only communicating in Vietnamese in a wide range of jobs but also researching and teaching Vietnamese at schools, universities, language centres, etc.

Learners completing one type of course at UFLS will get a 20% tuition fee discount for their following level course.

Tuition fee for other short courses (including specialized Vietnamese language: Vietnamese language for journalism/commerce/ tourism/hospitality/restaurant, etc.)

– $1.800/student/200-hour-course (class size: 1-3 students)

– $1.500/student/200-hour-course (class size: 4-7 students)

– $1.300/student/200-hour-course (class size: 8-15 students)

– Need-based Vietnamese intensive courses (less than 150 hours):

– The tuition fee includes learning materials and outdoor activities.

– Learners from universities with cooperation with UFLS will be subject to special tuition fee discount.

– Laotian students under MOU with The University of Da Nang will be subject to specific regulations on tuition fee.

  1. Registration

– Applicants fill in the course application form and submit it to the Department of Research and International Cooperation at least 45 days prior to enrolment date (email or by post).

– Applicants complete the procedure of applying for student visa and paying tuition fee once they receive the Decision of Enrolment.

– Applicants come to Da Nang to begin their study at Faculty of International Studies, UFLS once their student visa is issued.

* Tuition fee payment: cash or bank transfer;

* Visa category: student/internship visa (DH);

* University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Da Nang will support learners in the procedure of applying for visa.

+ Certificate of Vietnamese proficiency – Level B2;

+ Financial certification.
